The working group of the Territorial Development Fund of Armenia (ATDF), headed by director Sargis Baghinyan, visited Aragatsotn and Shirak marzes. In particular, the working group was in the community center being built in the framework of the Social Investments and Local Development Program in Aragatsotn's Alagyaz enlarged community with the co-financing of the RA government and the World Bank Armenia. A ceremony hall is being built here at the suggestion of the community. About 60 percent of the construction is already done. It is implemented by "Goharik" SPN. The members of the working group got acquainted with the progress of the construction, solutions for the elimination of current obstacles were given. A visit was also made to the kindergarten of Horom village, which is under construction. The construction here is at the final stage. It is implemented by "ARSEV" SPN. 72 percent of the work has been completed. After the operation, 75 students will attend the kindergarten. And the construction of a kindergarten has already started in the Nor Knyak community. It is implemented by "Andreas and Friends" CJSC. Foundation works are underway here. After the operation, 100 children will attend the kindergarten. The construction of the "Zangak" kindergarten in Gyumri, which is also implemented by "ARSEV" LLC, is nearing completion. 100 children will attend this kindergarten after its operation. The HTDF working group also visited primary school No. 2 under construction in the Artik community, which is being implemented within the framework of the project to increase the seismic safety level of schools (DSAB) co-financed by the RA government and the Asian Development Bank. Construction works are in an active stage here. The construction is carried out by "Arhovshin" SPN. It is expected that after operation, the main area of the school will double, 430 students will receive education in the school. Here, too, the working group got acquainted with the progress of the construction works, instructions were given to remove the current obstacles. About 60 percent of the construction works were completed in Azatan secondary school. The school is also under construction. The construction is carried out by "Arhovshin" SPN. Compared to the previous one, the area of the school has also doubled. After the operation, 576 children will attend school. The RTDF working group also visited the construction sites of the restored streets and tourism infrastructures of Gyumri city, implemented within the framework of the Local Economy and Infrastructure Development (LTED) project, co-financed by the RA government and the World Bank. Here too, the problems related to the construction works were discussed, solutions were given on the spot, and instructions were given to complete the works on time.
