Another earthquake-resistant school will soon be put into operation
The earthquake-resistant school building program in Armenia is an irreversible fact. The project is being implemented with the co-financing of the RA government and the Asian Development Bank, through the Territorial Development Fund of Armenia (DTDF), within the framework of the Seismic Safety Level Enhancement Program (SESP). With this program alone, the priority list of the RA government includes the overhaul of 40 schools. One of them is school No. 122, which will soon open its doors to its 825 students. The school was designed by the specialists of "HAYGYUGSHINNAKHAGITS" company. Building conditions have significantly improved, the total area of the school has increased by more than 50 percent. The educational surfaces have been increased. The school is equipped with modern engineering systems. More than 1.9 million drams were invested in the construction.
