Согласно прогнозам, к 2050 году мировой спрос на воду вырастет на 55%. Почти половина населения земного шара, 3,6 миллиарда человек, не имеет надлежащих санитарных условий, 44 процента бытовых сточных вод не подвергаются безопасной очистке:
22 марта отмечается Всемирный день водных ресурсов, что дает возможность переоценить важность воды для человека и планеты в целом, а также привлечь внимание общественности к водным проблемам. Прежде всего, пополнять запасы, сохранять и экономить, обеспечивать стабильное снабжение качественной питьевой водой.
Наша страна также не свободна от водных проблем, и на пути их решения важный вклад вносит также фонд территориального развития Армении. В частности, ряд программ фонда направлен на модернизацию систем питьевой и оросительной воды, улучшение дренажа, а также строятся два водохранилища стратегического значения.
В преддверии совета дня и каждый день и момент давайте дорожить и экономить нашу долю воды, от собственного крана до орошаемого поля и сада.
